Delicious food, amazing staff, exquisite ambiance. Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here today. The head chef and his team did an amazing job at challenging the senses, plating up the unique and ensuring each dish was specially crafted. As a chef myself, I truly appreciate the effort and creativity that was put in preparing this amazing Autumn menu. Thank you for an amazing time yet again! Also, a special thank you to our waitress who remembered my wife and I since our last visit back on 29 July last year!

An enjoyable experience with some extremely delicious bites, and some quite eh bites. We came here on the Easter Monday, and enjoyed their 5 course menu and the marron, based off the waiter’s absolute recommendation. In essence, most of the dishes were respectable. The flavours were well balanced, ingredients cooked to perfection. Harry’s mussels from flinders were absolutely perfect and I could eat a bucket of it (and I don’t even like mussels). Now for the Marron, which were 90 dollar addition per plate, it was arguably the worst dish of the whole experience. The marron was under seasoned, although tender it was borderline undercooked and translucent. I guess they treaded the line extremely carefully in the kitchen! Alas, it was absolutely not worth 90 dollars for about 100grams (if that) of marron. An otherwise enjoyable fine dining experience.

Ten Minutes by Tractor started as a vineyard, and they now have an exceptional fine dining two hatted 👨‍🍳 modern Australia restaurant.I tried a (carnivore) tasting menu and my friend, the (plant based) tasting menu. The service was excellent, and the food presentation was fantastic. The wine was delicious, too. This was a special dining experience and definitely worth a visit. 😊And I almost forgot to mention this. Our dinner took over 3 hours, so plan ahead.

Unreal experience. Drove down to spend the weekend in the area with my partner and this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. The food here was phenomenal, the service was amazing and the pacing between each course was perfect. Emma(?) Had been taking care of us on the night and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. I will definitely be coming back to try the 8 course menu!We had told them that we were celebrating our anniversary and they even gave us a complimentary dessert!Make sure you dress up though - this place kinda fancy

Thank you to the team at Ten minutes by Tractor. We had a wonderful family lunch. Our group included a 94 year old who is deaf and who has mobility and dietary challenges, and I'm a coeliac. The staff were wonderfully helpful and were extremely mindful of making sure they accommodated all of our needs. The food and (Ten minutes by Tractor) wine were beautifully presented and delicious. The gluten free bread was melt in the mouth and the most delicious I have tasted. The atmosphere was quiet enough for everyone to hear the conversation. We will certainly be coming back.

Angela — Google review

After so many times, I've decided to go for signature menu.I must say the food are super delicious, beautifully presented, too guilty to eat.Staffs were attentive and warmThe only downside is that the break between the dishes are too long. It was an 4hrs dining experience for us.

L V — Google review

Was lucky enough to enjoy the 5 course meal here with several friends, definitely worth the drive down from Melbourne.Everything was delicious. Service was excellent and if you are lucky enough to have the chefs table with direct view of the kithen you can watch as each dish is prepared and plated... try not to drool...Courses were spread at just the right intervals with enough time to savour each dish. Definitely not a rushed experience like we see in so many venues now as they try to push through clientele.I'm not a drinker but the drinks menu was significant. The 5 courses were preceded by some delicious bread and several snacks.

Dodwell Pompeus — Google review

We have dined here for lunch and dinner and absolutely loved it! The wine pairing is one of the best I’ve experienced, definitely arrange a lift or designated driver as the pours are generous and delicious. We loved every dish, all the courses were creative and tasty, even the bread was outstandingly yum and we had to request another serve. Beautiful interior with comfortable seating and attentive service. We’re so lucky to have such a quality restaurant only an hour away from Melbourne!

Cynthia Ma — Google review

Booked wine tasting and totally love it. Such an insight into the wine and love what they do. I would recommend you guys to have a trip there for some wine tasting!

AP — Google review

There are no words to describe how amazing the food and people were. Every meal was a work of art and every person involved were just so kind and friendly. You could just taste the freshness in the food and the passion behind it. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my husbands 40th a wonderful experience and one to remember. The little surprise chocolates, candle, and signed card to end was such a lovely gesture.

Lynsey Barnes — Google review

Absolutely memorable - My husband and I had our first dinner here on our little mini-honeymoon and we will not forget it. I am Vegan and my husband is not, and they were able to provide me with my own 5 courses which was just delicious. My husband enjoyed his meals as well and the service was just next level. The whole experience is one that we will forever remember and will most likely be back here every year to cerebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you

Alicia Van Hemert — Google review

Got to be one of the top spots for a long lunch on the peninsula.Food is always 5/5, service is always impeccable and the wine list extensive.Their bread is so good and I love the green marble throughout, it is the perfect spot for an extended lunch with friends and family.I especially loved the lamb cutlet on this occasion.Just make sure you get a driver so you can make the most of the wine list🍷

Josh Cooper — Google review

I came here for my birthday the week before Christmas. This was truly a phenomenal eating experience and it was so difficult to pick the stand out dish. Having said that the Marin was sublime and that lionsmane mushroom dish tasted like a rich beef dish. I am not a veggie eater but there was this beetroot salad dish that was delectable. I won't go through every detail of the food as I feel like I will miss something and not do it justice. The service was spectacular and each wine paired with each dish only enhanced the flavours of the wine and food. I loved every second I was there.

Megas11 — Google review

Sad to say I was underwhelmed by my experience at TMBT. I’ve wanted to dine here for over 10 years and we finally made it for our wedding anniversary, but it didn’t feel very special. Very overpriced for what it is compared to other tasting menus I’ve had. At $175pp I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to a friend. The food was good, not great. Service was good, not great (husband’s empty beer glass sat on the table for a good half an hour). Restaurant was pretty cold and the atmosphere felt a bit stiff. Really wanted to love this place as I’ve always loved the name but I guess they say never meet your heroes for a reason. :( Dishes were beautifully presented and if the price point had been closer to $125pp I think it would be justified and I suspect the dinner service would’ve been fully booked.

Hayley Volk — Google review

Fantastic....We went for lunch on Saturday. From the time we walked in the team offered us flawless dining experience. They finished it off by presenting us with a signed card from the team wishing us a happy anniversary.Well done!

Fonda Valasis — Google review

What can I say but this place is fabulous. My taste buds were treated like never before. The dishes were a delicate marriage of beautiful flavours, colours and the freshest of ingredients. The tasting menu we enjoyed tops anywhere else in our country in my opinion. Oh and the service top class as well. I love waiters who are professional, not trying to befriend you and serve you with the least intrusiveness and the waiters here are exactly that. Well done to the head chef and the staff.

Annie — Google review

Was there for friends birthday, food wasn't great, maybe is not my taste. i give 3 nice star for service because i ask for cake but the waitress said" i already closed the box, unless you wanted me to open it again and cut the cake for you?" I said forget it* dont worry. but i will come back to try the Restaurant because i see my type of food there....

At Tedesca, the chef Brigitte Hafner uses only the freshest produce and whole animals to create dishes that celebrate land and region. With a menu tailored to the local bounty, this restaurant is perfect for anyone who wants fresh, flavorful food with a touch of rustic charm.

Very impressive! The food was magnificent. Each dish was excellent. The fitout is terrific, not noisy like a lot of places. Service is great, very attentive and the explanation of each dish just right. There is a great and extensive wine list. The vegetable garden is very impressive too. Highly recommended.

Bitterly disappointed like previous reviewer.Booked 6 months in advance for a important family event.Cancelled by text a week before citing Covid staffing which we understand. Offered another weekend lunch only date which we said yes. Silent since. All texts, emails and calls ignoredGreat to win all these awards guys but please try a little consideration and customer service for people who have waited and been cancelled via text

Ashwin Appu — Google review

A stunning venue with a great philosophy. The open kitchen showcases the woodfire and imparts a rustic atmosphere. The staff are attentive and lovely. The house spritz was herbaceous and refreshing. Each dish was beautifully presented, and I enjoyed the little explanations when each dish was brought to the table about where the produce was sourced. The only reason I can't give 5 stars all around, was the timing between courses. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes between our mid course (tuna) and our main course (lamb). The previous courses were coming out at a more reasonable pace prior to this (when we finished a course, they would bring the next course about 10 minutes later). I understand the whole long lunch vibe, but in my opinion, that's far too long to wait between courses, and while the food was delicious, my enjoyment was diminished because of that wait. However, I'm not sure if this was just a one-off issue on the day we went. Other than this, we had a lovely and memorable experience, and would definitely recommend this restaurant as must visit.

Beaune has Ma Cuisine, Mornington has… Tedesca? In the laid-back wine country of Mornington Peninsula, home to many of Australia’s Pinot Noir producers — a rustic cottage stands on the edge of a valley, overlooking the neat rows of its farm.Hidden beneath a trap door is one of the peninsula’s best stocked wine cellars; the wine list an encyclopaedia almost, with an extensive range and rare allocations.Getting access to this wine list is notoriously difficult, but an afternoon in one of the osteria’s 30 seats is an afternoon well spent, observing how your wine evolves over the hours to the slow but steady rhythm of the little kitchen. There is pasta freshly made every morning, springy to the bite. The thin crust of wood-fired pitas, cradling with care a parcel of olives. Simple, homely food, matching equally rustic surroundings.Unlike Ma Cuisine, there is only one set menu at Tedesca, which dictates to a certain degree the choice of wines to go with your meal. There is enough food to satisfy both lunch and dinner. $185 per person covers a farm-to-table experience and the privilege to pore over and sip from a geeky wine list. We are left only to regret the wines we do not get to drink.

Vera Chu — Google review

From start to finish the experience was excellent. This is humble, rustic Italian cuisine amongst the beauty of Red Hill. A really special moment were the zeppole at the start, as they were a childhood favourite from my nonnas kitchen. The hapuka was definitely my favourite dish and the starters were a wonderful selection. My partner has allergies and he was well catered for. Service was excellent, albeit a little slow but you’re supposed to sit and enjoy a long lunch. Don’t come if you’re expecting a quick meal, as you need the time to take it all in.

Lisa Fusella — Google review

What an experience - flawless food, cosy atmosphere, delicious house spritz, beautiful location, friendly staff. Want the best meal of your life? Go here.

Tess Wallis — Google review

After failed to book for this restaurant twice before, I was almost jumping for joy when I finally secured a Sunday lunch spot for my husband & I.From the minute we entered a lovely white weatherboard house with a magnificent garden, an impressive timber front door, into a beautiful flower-sprayed dinning room with fireplace, this restaurant certainly makes a statement, an experience we are not likely to forget for a long time. What can I say about delicious food that already not been said many times before, everything is perfectly cooked with beautiful fresh produce and beautifully presented, our lunch lasted 3.5 hours, plenty time to savour each dish and wine, Tedesca certainly takes the lazy Sunday lunch to a new level. If you ever wondering what the hype is about, I can only suggest you try it yourself.

E H — Google review

Absolutely exquisite long lunch experience lasting about 4 hours. Service is warm and extremely attentive with chef/owner Brigette checking on you in between dishes. Food is extremely fresh and creatively put together. Expect quite a few courses and many unique items that are either caught or grown on site. Book way in advance if you wanna get a spot here.

Kevin Ang — Google review

We had a fabulous lunch here today. The food was amazing with plenty of dishes and staff were super friendly. It is one of those places where you feel like you are having 5 star meals but in a homely environment. Highly recommended!

Luan Tran — Google review

Fantastic fusion dishes (Italian x Morocco) in a great setting, perfect service. Super wine list - take a trip to the cellar if you're up for it. Worth the wait to get a seat.

Danny Mensingh — Google review

Our children gave us a voucher as a Christmas present over two years ago and we have finally made it! Well worth the wait. From entering through the front door that is an opening statement we were seated with a view to the wood fire cooking and food prep area, a fascinating and pleasing theatre that played out over nearly four hours. To see the aged ribeye trimmed and thickly sliced ready for cooking over coals, the trout sliced and cooked to perfection and the Serrano jamon being sliced tissue thin to be added to the pasta made our day special as the chefs openly shared their skills. Wait staff are professional and knowledgeable and the wine list impressive. The dedication of Brigitte Hafner to quality and sourcing excellent ingredients pays off in spades and Tedesca is a destination dining must.

Tony Morrison — Google review

Excellent! Nice long lunch, delicious food, great range of wines and amazing scenery. We even bought our 10month old and they were very accommodating!Highly recommend to anyone in Victoria! Worth the trip.

Janessa Smit — Google review

What a fantastic experience! Everything from the service, food & drinks were amazing.I have been here a few times and each time it is just as good as the last.We were seated in the group room as we had 8 and it was great, because we didn’t have the noise of the dinning room meaning we could hear each other.Definitely worth the 2 ⭐️ the team just got in the good food guide!

Josh Cooper — Google review

Like everyone else has said this place is outstanding. Service, food, gardens. Was told about this place and went on the wait list which we got in on lucky.Wine list is great, alot to choose from for everyones budget.Would highly recommend and return on our next Mornington visit.

Matt Brown — Google review

A fantastic experience - amazing food and service (thanks Georgia!) combined for a perfect long Sunday lunch. Well worth the long wait, and completely understandable why there is such a wait. Will be getting back on the waitlist ASAP!

Harry Johnston — Google review

I had a truly unique and amazing experience at Tedesca for my birthday. Starting off, I would like to shout out James for helping me secure a reservation with short notice. He was so helpful and friendly. The whole team were also extremely accomodating and meticulous with everything they did. I can’t even begin to explain how delicious the food was! My favourite dish was definitely the fish. Everything was cooked to perfection and just the general vibe and atmosphere felt so warm and I left extremely full and happy. I will definitely be coming back <3

Jessica Nguyen — Google review

Fantastic restaurant with a focus on local ingredients and slow dining. Perfect for spending a special afternoon with friends. Just be mindful of drink prices; our wine bill exceeded the meal bill, surprising some guests. Discuss drink price expectations beforehand to avoid any unexpected surprises

The Port Phillip Estate, designed by celebrated Australian architect Ronald Molloy, features a striking contemporary building that is home to wine tastings and fine dining with views.

All I can say is absolute bliss!Had the pleasure of going to lunch here during the first couple of weeks in January (menu may have changed soon ready this). Everything was absolutely delicious from the entree right through to dessert. The service was amazing and they happily accommodated for us as we had a toddler. The views were spectacular of the vineyard I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.

Patrick Sham Yuen — Google review

This was one of the best experiences. We went there for my wife's birthday lunch. They had no issues accommodating our four year old toddler. It was an absolutely beautiful and perfect day for visiting a winery. Just entering the architecture and design is stunning. This is a very refined and upscale winery so don't forget to dress up for the occasion. The views from the restaurant and bar are incredible. It's the perfect place for couples or those special occasions. We had the three course set menu lunch with a lovely bottle of Chardonnay. The service and food was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Joseph Jayawardana — Google review

Had lunch here Easter Saturday with friends. We had a fantastic dining experience made even better by the stunning views and beautiful architecture. The atmosphere was relaxed whilst the staff were informative, friendly and perfectly attentive with nothing being too much trouble and happy to ensure the afternoon was excellent. Thanks so much for such a memorable day.

Had the absolute pleasure to have dinner and stay the night. Wow, Treated as if we were family. Dinner as always was sublime and extra treats as we were guests overnight. A lovely curated dinner and super attentive servers who made us feel part of the family. The room! Stunning! Nothing was overlooked. Very private and inviting. The decor and deck out was beautiful. I want a bathroom like this! Can't rate more highly.

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a gorgeous wedding at Port Phillip Estate recently. The venue is absolutely breathtaking! Stunning architecture, with gorgeous natural lighting coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the interiors, and an epic concrete exterior offering the most spectacular backdrop. All beautifully complemented by the panoramic vineyard vista, allowing for countless beautiful photo opportunities. LOVE!!!

Nikola Janev — Google review

We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday luncheon with our family of ten. The food is outstanding and the service was fantastic. We had a total French rock star waiter who made our day more special. The whole family enjoyed the day. We will be back.

con rafael — Google review

Fantastic and friendly experience! Chris (or Craig) and Ash have been amazing hosts, they know their wines and we felt welcomed. Although Port Philipp is a famous wine brand, they have still kept all the charm of a small boutique! We definitely recommend this place and their Farrago Chardonnay. Thank you.

Pierre Toumanoff — Google review

Most often I will visit a winery when we are away and this time I booked Port Phillip Estate. The ambiance and food was amazing but I didn’t seem to feel comfortable whilst dining in there? Maybe the tables were too close together, so there was no privacy between each table. The quality of the food was superb and stand outs for me was the lamb main dish and the pineapple dessert. But unfortunately I will not be visiting again.

Debski — Google review

Venue and service were great. Worth the drive. However food (lunch) was the let down. The cod and pasta entrees started off on the right foot however it all went downhill from thereon. I'd give my overall experience 3.5 stars.

Ben Yao — Google review

By far the best hospitality I have experienced for a very long time. The staff are absolutely amazing. The food was divine and the room was just gorgeous. We were surprised with a beautiful breakfast basket delivered to the room, which was not even a part of the deal.

maryam shamasi — Google review

Beautiful location and a stunning view from our table. I had the asparagus for my starter, it was delicious but a small serve. I had the eggplant for my main and it was dry and lacked flavour. It was a half of the small eggplant. I had the strawberry sponge for dessert however the sponge was not light it was heavy. Coffee was weak and lukewarm. The staff were polite and pleasant. Overall, expensive and serves were too small.

LM Goldsmith — Google review

The place itself, along with the view, is beautiful. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. My disappointment came from the food itself. The entrée was fine - I wouldn't say great. My husband and I had the pasta and chickpea/tomato dish. But the main really let us down. We both had the duck. One, small piece of duck (slice from a fillet, about an inch wide) for a main was very surprising. It was served with charred radicchio and some very strong, strange tasting sauce. I could not eat the radicchio as it was so charred it tasted like eating coal and hardly touched the sauce. On top of that , the duck fat was not rendered properly on mine and i had to take some of the skin off and was a bit on the rare side for me. We ordered a side serve of potatoes which unfortunately tasted like they were either re-heated or kept warm for hours, bit dry and only just warm. The deserts were lovely in presentation and ok.For the price that you pay, you would expect much better.

Diana — Google review

I cannot fault this venue. Ok, maybe it's not the place for you if you're on a tight budget, but it is silver service dining and you definitely get what you pay for.The service is excellent, food is amazing, and the view will take your breath away.We were even treated to two wedge-tail eagles circling in the thermals outside.A very memorable experience.

Brett Harris — Google review

Hard to fault. The building is superb concealing the amazing view until you enter, then once inside, the dining room encompasses all the beauty of the valley below. The food is delicious. The service fabulous. The wine, beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, elegant and spacious and look out over the vineyards. If I have one criticism, it’s that in the evening there was nothing open in the hotel to get any food from. They promised us a cheese platter to tide us over after our massive degustation lunch, but the platter they they brought was very small and left us really hungry overnight. But that aside, it is a truly wonderful experience staying there.

Jeremy Stanford — Google review

We had a magnificent meal. Almost faultless. Our waiter was knowledgeable and hilarious. The view is spectacular and the wines were delicious.

Robert Wulff — Google review

All the food and desserts were good especially the lamb and oysters. We got there for our 12 noon booking and it was not that busy yet but the food took too long to arrive. I think the venue didn’t have enough staff as our wine glasses were long emptied and have to wait and ask to be refilled. Ordered our 3rd bottle of wine, my son in-law have to take our wine bottle himself to pour out as we can’t wait anymore for any service to come by. Again, food was good but took too long, venue was ok. Still gave them 10% tip for a very bad service experience because a waitress (Serena) seems apologetic enough but will never come back again. Go spend your money in another place if you want the complete package of good food with exceptional service….

Gerry — Google review

Fabulous Sunday lunch at the architecturally brilliant Port Phillip Estate. Great options for a pescatarian. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable on the food as well as the wine.

Karen Murphy — Google review

Stunning venue! Got so excited about the food that I forgot to take photos 😂For someone who is usually gluten free, I couldn’t say no to the house made bread - no regrets. Best bread I’ve eaten in who-knows-how-long?!Entrees we’re good and everyone was impressed with their main meals although the fish was a little bit dry. Needed something saucy even if it was on the side. Desserts didn’t disappoint and staff were superb professionals. Magnificent.

Caroline B — Google review

My now fiancee and I got engaged at this property, dined at the restaurant and also stayed for 2-nights in late October. If you have high expectations for luxury properties, and appreciate uniqueness, quality of service, and personal touch, this is a fantastic romantic weekend. Super boutique (6 rooms, all walk into vineyard where only hotel quests are allowed) and absolutely stunning location and architecture. Large, well appointed rooms tucked away under the building (super cool). Restaurant was possibly the best we had during our 2 weeks in Australia. Only knock is that it's not "full service" like a Ritz / Four Seasons (also no pool, workout etc) but that wouldn't really jive with the experience here.

Alexander Marcinkowski — Google review

There are plenty of options to stay on the Mornington Peninsula but Port Phillip Estate is by far the best. We bought the Dolce Vita package which was excellent value. The customer service is top class. From the moment Elliot welcomed us to all the other F&B staff. Incredibly friendly & professional. Lunch in the Dining Room overlooking the vineyard was exquisite. The scallops a real highlight. There are only 6 rooms on the property all looking out onto the vineyard. Luxuriously appointed & very elegant. We felt so spoilt during this stay & will have beautiful memories of our weekend away. Thanks so much to the staff for making it so special.

Pt. Leo Estate is a world-renowned wine estate with sweeping ocean views and cellar door tastings. It's easily one of the most impressive and expensive properties on the Mornington Peninsula, but comes highly recommended by reviewers. Unfortunately, due to high demand it can be difficult to get a tour at peak times, so make sure you visit during off-peak periods if you're interested in sampling some of their wines.

Such a beautiful place to visit! Grounds and buildings are stunning and perfect for any occasion. We ate at the pop up restaurant for a birthday and the birthday girl got a nice little candle with her dessert. Lovely and spacious, the food was great and service was very personal and attentive. Really enjoyed walking around the sculpture park which has views of vineyards and the ocean. Highly recommended!

Cecilia Wong — Google review

Really nice experience. Had the 3 course set menu. The food was nice, the space was beautiful, the entrance very pretty, the sculpture park was a bonus and really nice, the staff were also friendly. A very well looked after estate. 🌠 I would definitely recommend a visit!

Stan Veloutsos — Google review

It’s more than just a winery. It’s also a posh restaurant and large sculpture park with well curated sculptures and awesome views of the bay. Reservations at the restaurant is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. There is a 2 course or 3 course options and wine progression menu. Entrance fee applies to the sculpture park but it’s well worth it. Ample free parking onsite. Staff are professional and helpful.

Excellent service and a memorable 50th celebration for husbands birthday. The Vegan options were excellent and the attention to detail was outstanding. Grabbed a bottle of Chardonnay to go. The ONLY disappointing thing was lunch for 4 was over $600 but still expected to pay for the additional experience of the sculptures.

Karran Williamson — Google review

Exceeded expectations from the minute you walk in the service and attention is spot on. Food was fresh and delicious and presented beautifully. The ambience is excellent. Good choice of menu. Grounds and statues are fabulous. Ample parking. Special to mention to Nadia from reception who was incredibly helpful securing our booking. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Big thank you to Rebecca who helped me through my booking process as online said there was no spots left she managed to fit us in and accommodated to a few other requests. The food and drinks are phenomenal, they even had a candle and wrote on a dessert plate wishing my mum a happy birthday without us requesting. Fantastic staff, fantastic food. This is the second time I’ve eaten at the estate and would come back again!

I absolutely loved everything in this estate! It takes a while to come visit this place from my place but it was worth it🩷Once you book a table, you get a free pass to have a stroll the garden with lots of sculptures. My artistic understanding of sculptures is not anywhere good but all those art pieces are above the expectation and worth looking and appreciating.I admire huge pieces as they are not easy to be seen. The ocean view with the grass and sculptures was beyond explanation and I recommend you visiting and feeling it yourselves. We got here 30-40mins prior to our booking and enjoyed the walk. Once we finished walking and got really hungry the professional and very friendly staff started greeting and explaining about the food and menu. I found it kids-friendly as they provided colour pencils and colouring paper with their signature sculpture and my kids loved it! My kids asked for more and they provided more with joy.All the food that we tried was absolutely beautiful as we are happy and satisfied with every single touch and the quality! All the little details of food were top notch. It will make you feel special on your special day and my visit from the beginning to the end was definite pleasure and will visit again even with the long drive (2hour one way from my place)I think booking is a must and extra time to spend outside!Parking was nice and easy - definitely free! The price was reasonable but unfortunately I did not try my menu with wine (as I was driving) but everything will go really well with wine. It may seem expensive for two-three course as it ranged 95-135 approximately but the portion was generous. In love with this place and I will visit again when next new menu comes out maybe🎀

We had an amazing lunch at Pt Leo. Great food and beautiful scenery. My group had the set menu with share plates for our table of 9. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavour. Every dish was perfectly delicious. And there was enough food to make sure no body left still feeling hungry. So worth the long drive here.

Little Tran — Google review

We had a lovely lunch here in September for my husband's birthday. We had the sharing menu and it was very delicious. My grandchildren had the kids menu and they thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a pity that the weather wasn't very conducive to walk around the grounds to look at the various sculptures although we did brave the wind and cold to have a quick look outside. Wish the weather had been kinder then we could've had a leisurely stroll outside. The service staff were really friendly and attentive. They gave my husband a little box of petit fours when were leaving upon learning that it was my husband's birthday. Definitely recommended.

We very much enjoyed dinner at the Pt. Leo Estate restaurant last night. The service was so good that I came away convinced that they have lured all the best staff on the Peninsula! They boast a quality, extensive wine list (ask for the Laura one) with a great balance of Australian and international drops. The 3 course set menu choices were good, however I'd definitely recommend adding on the Steak Tartare with your entrees. Almost forgot to mention the great view, sculpture park and beautiful architecture, just in case you needed any other reasons to visit!

Nicholas Ryan — Google review

Probably the best A La Carte fine-dining on the Peninsula. This estate also has spectacular degustation restaurant, Laura, and the main restaurant is a great way to have a budget Laura experience.Very light and spacious. Great service, staff remember I've visited before from memory.Food is a wonderful and highly memorable presentation of mostly local ingredients. So often I found each ingredient was the best I'd tasted in ages, whether an oyster, a brussel sprout, a salad leaf, or a piece of fig.Great matching wines and sommelier recommendations.Obviously wonderful views of the estate's modern sculptures collection and Phillip Island in the distance.

Warren Day — Google review

Nice vineyard, resturant, wine tasting bar. Grounds are well kept. Landscaping fabulous. Art installation gorgeous. Have to buy tickets to enter pass the turnstile gated fenced up area where all the other art installations are displayed all the way to the perimeter of the coastline.

John Tango — Google review

What a wonderful experience. The grounds, including the massive sculpture park, were stunning. It felt a bit like walking the grounds of Versailles. The bistro restaurant was excellent. The staff were super friendly and always present when we needed them. The food was superbly presented and delicately balanced. The serving sizes were small but we didn’t go hungry. We paired our food with the local 2018 Pinot Noir and it was so good we bought another couple of bottles to go.I’ll be back!

Aron Steg — Google review

Wow. Took my partner here on a little getaway and we thoroughly loved every bit. Had 3 courses each (all different dishes) and added on a few sides and couldn’t fault a single thing about anything. Presentation, flavour, service, ALL 10/10. We were given complementary passes to the sculpture garden after our meal and it was the perfect day. Great ocean view if you can find the time to take your eyes off of the sculptures all placed considerately to provide an excellent walk. Definitely was an experience I will always recommend and hope to do again.

Brayden Miller — Google review

I gave this place a 5 out 5 stars simply because this place is a breeze of a fresh air, a memorable experience to visit this place. I'm not a wine connoisseur so cannot comment on the wine taste but the ambience of the estate just schmick !They have sculptures park at the back - entry with small fees. Quite fun to wander around if you want to spend a good afternoon outing.

Fabubuz Bubuz — Google review

Beautiful sculptures definitely makes this vineyard a must go if you're heading to Mornington. Food overall from this spring menu was good. The canapes were excellent and the highlight. Fish and beef was average, not WOW like the canapes. Dessert was cheese and white chocolate which were pleasant. Pricing is fair. Service was marred by having to ask for balsamic vinegar twice. The olive oil was too bitter for my liking but bread was excellent.

Z8L Tan — Google review

Absolutely beautiful sculpture park. A wide array of sculptures from many prominent Australian artists - however I will note that the vast majority of the artists were men (like a slightly shocking amount!!) - I would’ve loved some more gender parity here, and I can see from other reviews that this has been the case for at least a couple of years. I think an establishment of this calibre with obvious large financial backing can do better.Well maintained facilities and adequately staffed to deal with the crowds. Nice parking and bathroom facilities. Food options all a bit pricey but still delicious.

Ella Davis — Google review

The sculpture park is perfect for a leisurely stroll while you enjoy a glass of wine on the go (if it’s a nice sunny day, so best to plan ahead and check the weather). The wine terrace has nice food too! Great to have some snacks and wine if lunch is too big a meal.

Berenice Ethel Chua — Google review

Great experience at Pt. Leo Restaurant. Opener was a beautifully baked focaccia, followed by an interesting option for an appetizer: a basque cheesecake. Felt a bit odd eating a cheesecake warm, but the flavor wasn't too bad overall. The mussels curry is another good appetizer, albeit a little too salty for my liking. On the other hand, the crab caramelle pasta was rather bland. For the mains, I would recommend the pork belly and the wood-fried snapper. Both were flavorful enough without feeling too heavy. The beef eye fillet and charcoal drunken chicken are more suitable for those who don't mind or even prefer some bitterness in their food. While you're there, might as well take a walk through the sculpture park, especially if you like taking pictures. Do note that entry is paid at $10 per person.

This place is certainly worth a visit. Been trying to get to Point Leo Estate for a few years but we have finally made it. It was worth the wait. Went on a Fridayand it was still fully booked so it is best make sure you have booked ahead. Plenty of car parking, staff were great and the food excellent. Catered for Gluten free without a problem. Good selection of wines/beers but be willing to pay for quality. You can also visit the sculpture park if that is something you are interested in.

Kevin Barry — Google review

A beautiful venue offering some of the best wine and food in the peninsula. The restaurant is professional and well staffed and the food, wow.Don’t forget to take a stroll in the sculpture park afterwards. Worth a visit on its own.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Pt Leo Estate. We had the 3 course meal, enjoying every single dish. The focaccia was also incredible and deserves a mention! We had wonderful staff who were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about items on the menu. We were lucky enough to be seated at the window where we enjoyed a stunning view overlooking the sculptures and the ocean. We loved how entry tickets were provided with the bill and we thoroughly enjoyed walking and admiring the amazing sculptures after a delicious meal.

If I could give 10 stars I would!I took my parents here as I wanted them to experience something they would get in Europe, and they loved it!!Point Leo is hands down one of my favourite places to visit in VictoriaWhat a way to show off some beautiful sculptures by world renowned artists than in a setting that is just as breathtaking. The whole experience from walking up to the main entrance, through to the wine tasting area and restaurant is beautiful. Then you are met with the ultimate wow factor of the estates view. Simply breathtaking. I thought paying $15 entry fee was really reasonable, in fact I would say cheap for what you get! We had lunch at the restaurant which was the icing on the cake. The food delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer! Can’t wait to go back!!

Went here to relax and unwind as a treat to ourselves. The entrance and architecture of the place and the expansive views of green and blue waters and skies were excellent. The food was also very delicious and so were the co*cktails. The sculpture garden also has pieces from renowned artists from around the world - what a treat to be able to see it right here in Melbourne. The sculpture park does have an entry fee.Beautifully presented place and will be coming back to check out other restaurants within the property.

Kirtana Tanuku — Google review

Went there on weekend for a visit to sculpture park. Entry fee is $15 adult or $30 for family which is not expensive at all. The park is immaculate and very well maintained. Everything is so beautiful and we can also see the view of the blue ocean. Toilets are available and it’s spotless.Note : Pram/stroller friendly.

This garden was such a surprise. Absolutely loved it.Didn't know much about it until arriving, except it was a sculpture garden.Breathtaking art, astounding nature views. It's also a tasty tasty winery.I tried their method traditional 2018 sparkling. Very very nice.Highly recommended.

Tucked away on this part of the Mornington Peninsula.. this is a really nice start to the Merricks to Red Hill Walk indeed!!! The facades is still the old original close to 100 year old shade, the whole location has been seriously transformed into a lovely stop for a few hours!! We just missed the flowers of this beautiful nearly centurion tree located in the middle!! There is ample parking! The gift shop on the left followed by outdoor cafe before going up the stairs to the main dining and cafe. Well designed indeed! Staff are helpful too!

After the 6km walk from Red Hill along the rail trail, Merricks Store was a fabulous mid way stop before the return leg home for lunch. They were also very accommodating with a table on their deck so our two dogs could join us. The food was so beautifully presented and the flavours combinations were delightful. Their sustainability and use of local produce is also wonderful.

Beautifully presented farm to table food in a warm rustic-style atmosphere. Highly recommend the heirloom tomatoes and charred zucchini - produce was fresh and quality exceptional

Was recommended by a staff in one of the wineries that we visited. I like how the owner preserved the “general store” exterior. When guests/customers come in, they’re greeted with racks of local wine and products. Walk further in and ✨ a modern restaurant with plenty of natural light. Presentation of simple dishes (asparagus, salmon, chicken, cake with ice cream) is Instagrammable and very creative. 👏🏽 Flavour-wise: 🤯💯. Lovely staff too! 🙌🏽

Absolutely fantastic place for a coffee and cakes. And for wine as well!!The staff was kind, the place nicely decorated with plenty of seating I side and outside on the terrace. We loved all the coffees we had, but the cakes were truly out of this world! We ended up buying a bottle of local wine, with great advise and explanations from the teammate.Thank you, highly recommend!

Beautiful spot to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat. Also a good spot to take a walk (rail trail) that will take a few hours if you do a round trip.I didn't go into the wine store or shop but from the rest of the place and the busyness it probably is quite good.

The wine tasting at Merricks is free, we had the fish (the specials recommended by the waitress) and the salad to go with the white wine. The fish was superb, service was great and the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. This winery/restaurant tucked away in Mornington Peninsula is a true gem of a place, it is simply one place you cannot miss if you're on a trip to the Peninsula!

I absolutely LOVED our lunch at Merricks today, celebrating our anniversary. Honestly it’s the nicest food I’ve had on the Peninsula since moving here 8 years ago. Gorgeous food, yet not pretentious, such an appealing menu (found it hard to pick as there was so much I loved the sound of), beautiful attentive service. The side dishes especially lit me up, if I wasn’t so embarrassed I would have ordered all 3! Thank you Merricks, happy to say it’s the yummiest lunch I’ve had in a really long time :)

Highly recommended!! Loved that you could do a bit of wine tasting before moving to your table. Lovely atmosphere and service too - wines were explained in much detail. Both the wines and pasta were great (a bit too much salt would be my only comment). Thanks for a great lunch

Merricks General Store is a restaurant that consistently provides a great dining experience. During our visit, we opted for the main courses and sides, and we were not disappointed. The fish dishes we ordered were flavorful and cooked to perfection, each bite delivering a juicy and satisfying sensation. The accompanying salad was a refreshing delight, with vegetables that tasted as if they had been freshly picked from the fields. And let's not forget the chips—decadent and irresistible. The quality of the food was complemented by the excellent coffee served at the restaurant. It was rich, aromatic, and a perfect way to round off our meal. The restaurant itself was bustling with activity, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The pleasant buzz of the place added to the overall dining experience, making it even more memorable.Merricks General Store has consistently maintained its reputation for delivering tasty dishes and creating a vibrant dining ambiance. Whether you're looking for a satisfying main course, fresh salads, or simply a great cup of coffee, this restaurant won't disappoint. Make sure to experience it for yourself and indulge in their delightful offerings.

Such a divine little place for a Sunday breakfast. Everything about the atmosphere was wonderful . The staff were super friendly and the little shop was a delightful added bonus after brunch. Such a beautiful, Instagramable place, yet… the food is actually really good here! 😍We really enjoyed our entrees, both the tuna and calamari were fresh, flavourful and had different delightful textures. Our mains were also very good- hubby had a beef short rib that’s falling off the bone - so tender! My soft shell crab roll was delicious too!The kids loved their kids meal, although nothing really healthy in the choices they offer, the fish and chips portions were huge, the macaroni and cheese was demolished by my kiddo within seconds.

Sculpture

Montalto is a celebrated modern Australian restaurant with an open-air kitchen garden and stunning views of the vineyards and sculptures. The menu changes regularly based on the bounty of the estate gardens and aquaculture, together with local, seasonal ingredients.

A wine tasting experience like no other. Walking through the vineyard in between sculptures to our private location at half moon picnic ground. Upon arrive we found a picnic bench with assortment of dips, fresh prawns, cheese and crackers.Should mention one of the dishes was covered with ants, however we made a call and the plate was replaced with a fresh one and ant repellent was provided by one of the friendly staff.Fantastic overall experience on a beautiful sunny Melbourne day.

Devan Dhora — Google review

I've been to Montalto before but until today I had never experienced the set menu experience their restaurant offers. My wife and I were taken on a culinary journey. Every dish placed before us was rich in flavour and was perfectly complimented with wine. Montalto is a dining experience you won't forget.

One of my favourite wineries in MelbourneThe restaurant is great and staffs are kind. They also have a huge farm area to walk around after lunch or wine tasting.Location is also good, so there are many places and good beaches to visit together.

Great place for a special lunch (we went for Fathers Day today). Five course lunch in restaurant was beautiful. Pricy but worth it.Lovely views down the hill and vin yards. Cool little sculpture trail as well down the side past the lake and river and up the other side. Nice touch.

Lovely location, great views & a relaxed atmosphere. Sculpture Park & Wetland Walk after our meal was very enjoyable. We went for the "Feed Me" option at $70 per person. The food was tasty & enjoyable but a little over priced for what it was.The accompanying bottle of red wine that we bought was excellent & good value. An overall enjoyable experience, staff were attentive & helpful.

First of all, this place is absolutely stunning - the views begin at the car park and just keep going. The sculptures scattered around the the planting around the walking path complemented the vineyards nicely. We started with a wine tasting - helpful, friendly, and informative explanations from the staff. Great selection of wines too. We were impressed with the number of varieties.Afterwards, we had the set lunch at the restaurant (vs the casual dining outside which is available for walk ins).It was probably one of the best meals we’ve had in the Melbourne area! The dishes were all delightful but the vegetables grown on the property really stole the show. The views of the vineyards from the dining room were just icing on the cake.I can’t recommend this spot enough!

Awesome day, the winery was extremely busy (Sunday) the staff were very busy and some of the visitors were extremely impatient and rude. Come on people be respectful and have a generous heart. The young woman on the door welcoming guests needs a promotion she was so professional and friendly under lots of pressure.Food was excellent, oysters, charcuterie board, croquettes, napoli pizza with a sparkling rosè.Service staff were great.Perfect view.Sculpture garden was a lovely walk.

We absolutely loved out visit to Montalto!! Even though we went only for the tasting as our time was very limited we got to enjoy the wine, the surroundings and the incredible service. We were absolutely delighted for the service of Michelle, she made us feel really special and she took care of every single detail. It is also really important to highlight the quality of the wines, which without a doubt is above and beyond. We can’t wait to receive our wines as of course we subscribed to the wine club, it is worth to have them at home!! Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable!

Lovely ambience with beautiful views over the vineyard. We enjoyed a set menu which was spectacular. The five of us agreed it was one of the most wonderful meals any of us had ever enjoyed. We enjoyed a lovely picnic which was gifted to us about 3 years ago. We had a beautiful quiet and secluded space. There was so much food which was all excellent quality and the included bottle of wine was divine. The service at the cellar door and then at the picnic was wonderful. Could not fault this experience, would highly recommend it.

Amanda Biemans — Google review

We were gifted a picnic at Montalto and absolutely loved the experience. It begins with a wine tasting in the main building and we got to take a bottle of our favourite wine with us. We then walked through the vineyards to our private picnic table which was set with white linen. Our entree was waiting for us, and mains and desserts were delivered later by motorbike. We could have had more drinks delivered as well but we were driving. My recommendation is to get a taxi here so you can really enjoy a lazy, long lunch! We loved our day here and will be copying the gift idea for any future weddings we go to!

Michael Ryan — Google review

A beautiful restaurant that grows their own herbs and vegetables at the back of the garden. It has a few sculptures around the area for the fun side of it. Dishes are delicious and pizzas are just perfect. Parking can be slightly challenging if you come on the weekends, otherwise a relaxing place for your day trip!

$70 set menu at Piazza. Quite heavy on the bread (sourdough was fantastic) so we were very full by the time we had the mains. Still tasty with the trout and barramundi being the highlights of the meal.

This one definitely takes the cake for most scenic vineyard on the peninsula for me. Situated with a view across the valley, it’s dreamy rolling hills to the horizon. Service in the cellar door was perfunctory but much warmer in the restaurant. Food was delicious and worth a stop.

Picnics - not great!Wine tastings is first up, good selections & great staff. However after leaving to go to the picnic site it went downhill from there. Upon arriving to our site it was crawling in black ants despite trying to remove them we ended up covered in bites. The site was unmaintained & a sculpture near our site had used nappies in it. We had No instructions on what to do or expect & no menu provided! The 1st board was a lot of bread & 1 small dip / veggies. It was underwhelming. The “main” was chicken that tasted like it was in pizza base sauce & came with average sides such as 4 prawns that really didn’t go with the meal. The food has elements you could taste were either from a can or jar. Had the same experience 2 years earlier, disappointed nothing has changed. Save your time & money don’t bother with a picnic.

Date/time of visit: 5 January 2024 at 12:15pmA beautiful show case of food. We dined at The Restaurant and you are served a set menu for a fixed price. There are options to have wine pairings with each course at a higher price or order by the bottle or by the glass (we ordered by the glass). There are also a couple of options for additional sides, choice of two, for an extra price (we ordered an extra side of a tiger prawn). Each dish was a sharing dish with enough food for the number of people seated at your table. A dining session is approximately two hours and this was our only complaint…we felt rushed at the beginning of our meal and still had 45 minutes to spare at the end of the meal before we officially had to leave. The food itself was delicately prepared. Every ingredient was familiar and, therefore, not daring us to eat it. Instead, the chefs highlighted how every day ingredients (carrots, beans, fish, lamb, snow peas, sugar snap peas, bread, butter) can be raised up to something more. Vegetables were showcased in their own dishes with magnificence without the need for a protein. The fish and the lamb were beautiful. The staff were excellent. The venue was fine dining but relaxed. The dining room has a lovely view over the valley and the surround hills. After lunch we explored the sculpture trail (which is also well worth the visit). Bookings are essential (we had to book approximately 2 weeks in advance to get the sitting time we preferred). Price point to food quality and service was excellent.

Nestled amidst stunning vistas, the winery offers a breathtaking backdrop for a leisurely day out. However, the charm falters when it comes to service, lacking attentiveness and warmth. Disappointingly, the Easter Sunday set menu lacks customization options and fails to cater to diverse tastes. Moreover, the waiter did not offer us the option of still or sparking water and only served sparking water. I have not attended this winery on a regular day so I cannot comment on the other food options.

We had the Red Balloon wine tasting and lunch in the piazza on a Saturday in January. This is such a busy place it's amazing how many people turn up!Wine tasting was a nice experience upstairs followed by a three course set lunch in the piazza area.Wines were nice and we were given extra as we asked to try some stronger reds. The food was enjoyable too and well portioned. All round it was a good experience.

Awesome place to have brunch/lunch at Mornington. The food was fabulous, and the coffee was amazing. Love the whole atmosphere of the place, including its picnic area, gardens, and the wetlands walk. We reached around 1 o clock for Saturday lunch, the place was full, and we had to wait for 40 minutes to get our table. The service was quick and efficient.

We came to do a wine tasting on Saturday. It was so beautiful. We got to sit at our own table and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the wine I bought two bottles, the winery itself was beautiful aswell with a sculpture walk and gardens. We will be back definitely.

We had a beautiful lunch here. The food and service was exceptional, as were the wine pairings. One of my favourite meals ever! The burnt whipped butter, the lamb and the veggie course 🤌

Fine dining restaurant

Doot Doot Doot is a top-notch fine dining restaurant located on the Mornington Peninsula. The restaurant's inventive and creative Australian inspired menu features dishes such as the skilful use of wattle in the wattle crusted kangaroo. The luxurious setting and intimate seating makes Doot Doot Doot a must-try for anyone visiting the area.

My fiancée and I dined here on Melbourne Cup day for dinner and it was an amazing experience. Our servers Kristi and Alistair were both very friendly and made the evening feel extra special. The food was delicious and presented very well. The experience, decor and food was worth every dollar. I would highly recommend this fine dining experience to everyone!

Mario H — Google review

Quaint establishment with interesting architecture. The food was well presented and palatable. We enjoyed the ambience and our evening. The kind gesture of birthday dessert was very much appreciated.

Delightful restaurant experience. Albeit found the food good but not excellent. The fish wasn't overly flavoursome or unique and the chicken was good but again did not blow your socks off. I've found the Rare Hare to be the better of the two restaurants. With that said there is certainly more on the menu that I didn't have the chance to try.Staff were impeccable and service is 5 star.

Eric G — Google review

Loved their innovative and playful menu and the ambiance. The restaurant is both cosy and stunning, with the ceiling artwork the standout piece. Staff were all lovely. 5/5 - would love to return. Tip: stay at the beautiful hotel so you don't have to drive home and make a mini break of it - it's worth it (breakfast is also outstanding!)

Lena Brorsson — Google review

Great experience, definitely a highlight and everything is put to work to make your dinner memorable. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable on menu and wines. The dining room looks great with the unique ceiling light design. The flavours in the menu were wonderful with unique combinations, and the wine options matched to the menu worked really well.

Creative dishes with nice wine pairing. Impeccable service. Just a bit lost to find the entrance from the cat park in the dark but a friendly staff showed me the way.

Engo Po — Google review

We've heard a fair bit about the restaurant thus, when we secured our accommodations at the hotel, we decided to book a table for dinner with our friends since we are a long way from home. There's quite a lot of hype on the restaurant so expectations were high. First you are greeted with the black and modern decor, with lights that dim and brightened throughout the night. As a person with some degree of night blindness, it bothered me. Our friends too. Maybe we are older, and this was way to trendy for us. Maybe it was to add to the atmosphere, but didn't do much for me. But the light fixtures were something else, definitely better viewed in the day IMHO. That way, you can truly see the extent of the fixtures. FYI, the restaurant is where you'd have breakfast in the mornings and I LOVED BREAKFAST. Every single dish we had was flavourful and fresh, and beautifully plated. Service by Emily was good, can't say the same for the rest, as we had to ask for service a few times in the mornings as they had forgotten some things. Likewise for dinner service! Exquisitely decorated plates for all the courses. I must say, we didn't like the oysters. While they were fresh, somehow the special sauce didn't do it for me, nor anyone else who had oysters on the table. As mentioned, we were all enjoying all the innovative courses, tasty and filled with textures and layers, until dessert... Dessert, every single one we had was such a letdown. It didn't help that we waited more than 40 minutes and asked for updates on it 3 times. Disappointing because we were so impressed with our appetizers and main courses and were at the climax! It would have been 5 stars for sure had dessert impressed us as well. Sadly, it did not. While the menu description made each of them sound really exciting, they didn't excite any of our tsstebuds. And there wasn't much service recovery either. Service was also pretty good right until we finished our main courses and started the wait. What a bummer. By the end of all the waiting, we were all so exhausted, and couldn't wait to get out, we didn't even bother to stay for the petit fours, and as we stood up to leave, no staff attempted to remind us either... Another set of diners left abruptly as they didn't want to have their desserts anymore. Overall, I enjoyed the dining experience, but would definitely do without dessert. Would I return for dinner, maybe no desserts next time, especially if I have to wait that long again. But call me for breakfast again, anytime!

I had actually never heard of this restaurant until I received a Jackalope gift voucher from my friends. So I decided to use it on a nice dinner at Doot Doot Doot to celebrate my birthday, and I’m so glad I did.The customer service from all the servers were fantastic, very professional and friendly. We really liked our server, Thomas, who was very attentive. He encouraged questions to be asked if we weren’t sure of anything, and if he didn’t know the answer, he went to find out for us.The food was amazing! We enjoyed everything we ordered and this is probably one of our favourite restaurants now. Will be back in the future.

We loved our dining experience at DOOT DOOT DOOT. Our server Gemma was kind and knowledgeable and we had an overall great experience. I think the price point of $125 per person was quite reasonable for the food and experience we received. Some of the dishes were experimental but not too much that they weren’t edible, they were exciting and tasty. We especially enjoyed the ‘bacon and eggs’ among other things. We would recommend to others :)

One of the must try regional restaurants people always talk about. First thing - what a ceiling! It dims and glows through the night.Food is pretty good (given the price too - very reasonable cost for a "degustation"). More like a tasting menu to be honest. Nothing really stood out per se, but definitely worth a try if you wanted a night away and some fine dining!Breakfast from here was great as well (nothing brunch fancy but simple and delicious)

We had a Amazing dinner at Doot Doot Doot last Tuesday. The food and drinks were an absolute delight. The co*cktails were very refreshing and a little dangerous as they were so easy to drink. The flavours and textures of each of the dishes were truly amazing! The service was second to none as each member of the team were highly knowledgeable and of course very helpful. Huge thanks to Grace, Amanda and Kate for making the night wonderful.

Stunning vista and fabulous venue. Delightful staff. Hard to go wrong here although the lemon sorbet accompaniment with the Harpuka was a little startling … Defs not my thing. The desserts were a bit funky too, but I do believe we are spoilt for food in Melbourne. It’s hard to consistently outperform your own benchmark and expectations of an increasingly opinionated public!

Really enjoyed an amazing night at Doot Doot Doot. Our server was very attentive, friendly and took the time to answer our questions and find out more. Was great to see he was honest, well thought out and prepared when answering my questions. Great job!Overall, I really enjoyed all the dishes, with each giving a different unique and unpredictable experience. It was more than just a taste, but truly a remarkable journey of flavours and textures, with twists and turns.Highly recommend anyone going out for more than just food. Thank you to the team and to the chefs crafting such an exquisite experience.

Kirk's on the Esplanade is a waterfront pub in Mornington Peninsula offering stunning panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows, a deck, and comfortable sofa-style seats for guests to relax and enjoy the scenery. Seniors can avail of special discounts, and the menu includes a variety of dishes such as steak, seafood, pasta, and salads.

Had an early dinner with my best friend at Kirk's. It was our first time dinning there. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent service. Food was delicious 😋 😍We will definitely go there next time

Kirks is an awesome place. The staff are great and the food is awesome. They lack the space that The Royal next door have which means the atmosphere isn’t as buzzing but on its own merit without the comparison, it is a different clientele at Kirks and one the more mature generation enjoy and prefer.Amazing place and in a great location… would be great to see them stay open later in the busy summer months

Very nice atmosphere, even though packed to the rafters. Super friendly staff, and nice range of food. Woodfire pizza's looked good, although we didn't have this time. The ribeye steak may have been a smidge overcooked for my preference, but the service well & truly made up for it, and it was still a great steak. Nice range of co*cktails too. We'll be back again! 😋

We visited Kirk on the Esplanade this week.We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food ,the amazing service and we will definitely be back.We started with salt and pepper calamari, Oysters natural and Fitzpatrick way,John Dory as a main with chips and salad on the side. They were all delicious, cooked perfectly. The size of the portions were generous and the service was amazing. We were back for another dinner. The food was delicious.Thank you.😘👌

Lunch with friends. Seniors get great deals - on offer is 10% off the main menu items (according to the menu) and their own menu and specials menu. We ordered a chicken caesar salad and my wife ordered the salt and pepper calamari. No 10% off was offered - maybe they thought i was younger than my 71 years. Trainee on duty at the bar was learning the job but doing it well under her mentor. The caesar was excellent but the chicken was a bit dry - one of the drawbacks of using breast fillets. Wine by the glass menu was ignored due to prices and bottles were ordered for our group of 6. Great view - good wine selection and friendly staff.

Great place to chill with delicious food ,fantastic service and very nice ambiance. The Oysters were fantastic- both ways Fitzpatrick's and classic. The fish was very good ( We had Jan Dory). The calamary starter was well cooked and delicious.I had a great main course- a salad with leaves, pear, goat cheese and cranberries and I added a piece of fish, which was perfect, exactly what i wanted.Desserts did not disappoint either. I would definitely recommend to drop by for a good hearty food if you are in Mornington Peninsula.

Brewery

Restaurant

Jetty Road Brewery, located in Dromana's thriving industrial estate, is a testament to the founders' passion for quality beer and the good life. This brewery offers an amazing tapas-style menu, live music Sunday sessions, and soon-to-be brewery tours. With its homely and heroic vibes, it serves standout craft beers and classic dishes. The cozy fireplace in the dining area adds to its stellar winter ambiance.

The live music, the food and the atmosphere was all on point. Definitely recommend booking in advance as finding tables inside is difficult if you don't book in advance. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back!

A cool oasis on a warm day. The massive ceiling fan provided a nice breeze. I tried the ginger beer and it didn’t disappoint! Crisp, strong ginger flavour. Hubs tried the American Pale Ale, which he thought was very floral. For snack we had the cauliflower, which was nice and spicy, plus a bowl of chippies. Heaps of families and friend groups. Great to see dogs welcome. Staff were super friendly!

Beautiful place to visit whilst down at this location, the share plates were generous in size and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a bit of everything and it was all standout, I don't think I can pick just one. The drinks were all great!Even had a play area outside for kids.Only thing that could improve was staff attentiveness, front of house was amazing however other staff were abrupt and not as friendly (however it was a hot day and extremely busy so I do think they deserve some lenience).

Wanted to stay at a place with a spa room within a reasonable distance of home so with the help of Google and a disappointment with another place, settled on this one.My initial impression with the room was that it was huge! Much bigger than it needed to be but good if I wanted to entertain.Despite being a Friday night it wasn't excessively noisy. I could hear noise from the bar but it didn't stop me getting to sleep.Room was very well maintained and they've had a renovation recently of a number of rooms as the paint smell was noticeable when I was in the room corridor.Loved it's proximity to a convenience store and the main street of Mornington.Loved the spa, the huge bed, the balcony, rear parking and the convenience of having the breakfast provisions in the cupboard and fridge.Thought the double shower was a great idea although sadly wasn't able to share it. Realised too late that there was a rubber mat in the bathroom cupboard. Could have done with it. I thought the spa should have a granny grab rail on the wall as it would make it safer to use.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago on a whim. What a wonderful surprise! The rooms are modern and spacious and clean. Toast and cereal provided, tea, coffee and biscuits. We thought being over a pub it might be a bit average. Wrong! Price was very reasonable. We had dinner in the pub, a beautiful feed. Generous serves and a great price. The staff were all lovely. My partner is in a wheelchair and the rooms accommodated him very well. The only negative was they didn't have a shower chair but we managed without a problem. Close to the beach, more specifically the pier as we were there to go squid fishing. Highly recommend staying here!

Walked in and felt I’d chosen the wrong place. Nothing inviting in reception but once you go upstairs the vibe is different.Very modern, comfortable, huge room. Nice balcony area and massive bathroom. Everything you need is there. Super happy with the room.Issue: No soundproofing. Can hear everything from the sports bar below. There were guests who were slamming doors, ruining and yelling in hallways and being very rowdy until early hours of the morning. Nothing we could do but wait for it to stop.Left a bad taste so probably wouldn’t stay again as I really enjoy my sleep but if your tolerance to noise is good then this is for you.

During our previous visit, we were disappointed to discover that the self-serve carvery, which we had come to enjoy, had been replaced with a Sunday roast. We were informed at that time that there was a possibility of the carvery being reinstated, which gave us hope. Consequently, prior to embarking on our 45-minute drive to the hotel yesterday, we took the proactive step of contacting your staff by telephone to confirm if the carvery was indeed back. To our delight, we were assured that it had returned.Unfortunately, upon our arrival, we were dismayed to find that the carvery was, in fact, not available as promised. This discrepancy was disheartening, especially after making the effort to double-check beforehand. Seeking resolution, we approached the manager on duty to discuss the matter. Regrettably, her response was lacking in empathy, and she offered no assistance to rectify the situation. Instead, she advised us to submit our complaint via email. As loyal patrons, it is disconcerting to encounter such a lack of consideration and professionalism. We understand that mistakes can happen, but the manager's unsympathetic attitude and failure to address the issue only compounded our disappointment. This beautiful hotel is set in the heart of Mornington the rooms a spotless and very spacious it's a few minutes drive to the beach if you were looking for a quick getaway come down to the Mornington Hotel the staff are friendly and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello so come on down and see for yourself

Misleading customer by asking them to pay for deposit, even after they have fully paid for the room accomodation. We had to provide my Driver's licence, even before I complained about the excessive room price. AVOID THIS HOTEL COMPLETELY.

XXX Test — Google review

We went down to the pub for food and the food was amazing but the servers were really rude, both my friend and I are adults but she is very short, and often gets mistaken for being a minor, the lady said rudely “can I help you” when we went to go into the pokies, my friend had her ID and showed it to the lady and she straight up thought it was a fake, we would have understood if she had just asked if she could ask a second opinion on it, she then asked me if I had my ID and I said no I don’t have mine on me and she said she couldn’t let me in and that is completely understandable but she should have handled the situation a lot better and shouldn’t have mistreated my friend just because she looks young and is pretty short.

DECENT HOTEL IN ONE OF THE MAIN STREETS OF MORNINGTONRooms are spacious and there is a sports bar / restaurant on the ground floor. The entry to the hotel rooms is up a fairly steep set of stairs. people with mobility issues can use a lift at the rear of the ground floor restaurant. Parking onsite at either front or rear of complex.

Stayed in a modern, clean deluxe king room with a fantastic bistro downstairs where i enjoyed a beer with my meal. Great menu and food is of quality!! Greay location literally being one street away from the main street of Mornington. Pleaseant stay and would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel. It was a great experience. The room was very spacious and the kids really enjoyed. Only thing was that they did not give us the room even 5 mins earlier than the check in time. Most other hotels give the room if it’s ready even an hour prior to the check in time. But this hotel kept us waiting for 40 mins until 2 pm to give us the keys. It wasn’t a busy time and I think they could have given us the room a bit earlier. Other than that, everything else was perfect. They even had some bread and butter in the fridge for breakfast.

Lovely big room. With everything you needed..check in delayed due to staff shortage..room was very hot and air conditioner didn't seem to be working so had to leave door to corridor open and open windows..good parking..not very noisy on the night I stayed

Waterfront Cafe is a prime location that offers a delightful dining experience. The eggs Benedict, prepared by the talented chef, were described as stunning and cooked to perfection. Despite being busy, the waitress provided attentive service with a lovely persona. Visitors found it to be a hidden gem and praised the well-presented dishes with generous serving sizes. It's definitely worth returning for a unique and satisfying dining experience.

What a hidden gem. Thought I would try this for something different... Will definitely be back for a good feed. Well presented and not shy on serving size. Love it.

Pretty disappointed with my experience attending this cafe. The venue looks bright and inviting, however my family and I stood around waiting for a table complexly ignored by every wait staff that walked past for about 10 minutes. Only to have another couple be greeted politely and seated… the food was average, nothing exceptional for a $90 breakfast. Eggs Benedict had a very small amount of hollandaise sauce. Coffee was okay, but all in all very average experience definitely won’t be rushing back.

Georgia Kilopoulos — Google review

We enjoyed a couple of hours at Waterfront the service was excellent, the beer was cold loved the handled pint glass, local wine was delicious and so was the co*cktail and to top it off we saw a stingray cruising down the boat channel twice!

Suzanne Williams — Google review

The food here was delicious and the surroundings lovely but unfortunately the service was abysmal. The waitress was quite rude to the people ahead of us for no good reason and it took almost 30 minutes for them to bring us 2 glasses of wine and we were nearly finished our food. They did not appearing particularly busy but people seemed to be waiting for ages for food and attention. Overall very unprofessional service.

Friendly Service, relaxing setting, and the food was delicious, coffee too.Staying locally for a few days, very highly recommend walking over for a visit.

Nell Bea — Google review

I’ve been to the Waterfront Cafe on several occasions, sometimes after enjoying a leisurely stroll along the foreshore, watching the pelicans as they glide and dive for fish, before settling down to a tasty cup of Joe ...ahh, their caffeine always hits the spot. I’ve also had several meals, lunch and brunch, with friends. The fish + chips + side salad is lovely, the toasties are yummy, the milkshakes take you back to your childhood days. It’s an ideal spot to sit especially now with the incredible covered pergola that protects you from the searing sun rays, the bitter cold, the intermittent inclement forever changing weather that we, Melbournians, call normal. There are outdoor cafe blinds that don’t restrict the view. The best thing about the location is the views. Sitting there, watching yachts, boats & fishermen + fisherwomen or families come + go on their sea vessels, mostly feeling joyous from a good day out, with the occasional despondent Captain return without a catch of the day, to feed the family. There’s also the chance to dine indoors if you feel a need to escape the fresh air or if it’s too chilly for you. Bathroom facilities available, Sanitiser provider plus the standard CoVid19 check-in page to document your attendance as well as the ScanCode for the tech-savvy visitors

4.5 stars. A treasure found on the waterfront of Westernport Marina. Glass panels separate guests and the beautiful relaxing view of the boats. The food was fantastic! Chicken Parma with chips and salad hit the spot. Parma cooked traditionally, chunky chicken breast, real tomatoes topped with ham and browned cheese. So good. The salad also stood out. Generous portions, and refreshing flavour combos with different salad leaves, some mint and other items. The grilled flathead was fresh and cooked well. Also well portioned and satisfying. For 5 stars, crispy chips and better olives. But overall a great meal and well priced. Will return if in the area. (The Warrangine Park wetlands is nearby and worth a walk. Beautiful)

Now called waterfront cafe. Reasonable meal at good price. A little slow on service but pleasant marina setting. $21 chicken parma very nice.

Slow to take order and then forever to deliver simple breakfast. Some customers left before us. We left after an hour waiting. No apology -instead quite rude as though we were the problem. Never again. Lovely setting. Appalling service. Can't rate the food as it never came.

Italian restaurant

Donna Maria serves up some of the best Italian food on the Mornington Peninsula, with a warm and welcoming approach to hospitality. Delicious seafood and premium ingredients are celebrated with a focus on freshness and diversity. The wine list is extensive and well-described, making it easy for guests to find exactly what they're looking for. Perfect for date night or any special occasion!

Absolutely spectacular. From the friendly service all the way through to the quality of delicious food. Thanks for making our experience a memorable one. We will be back very soon!Ps: that was the BEST steak I have had in a very very long time.. so soft and filled with flavour!

Amazing food, fantastic service, staff knowledgeable about both wine and food. Will definitely dine here again. A gorgeous place to eat.

Absolutely incredible Italian restaurant, we happily drive an hour to eat here! Everything is incredible as well as having a great wine list with nice descriptions of their by the glass wine selection which is really helpful.

Kana Ristic — Google review

I am writing a review primarily based around OLIVES - that’s a first. Donna Maria, like Sorrento sister venue Bar Elba, is top quality Euro cuisine, including wonderful half priced oysters early evening (an absolutely draw card in my book). The aesthetics of the venue are top-notch. But my highlight this time around: the olives. I honestly think they’re the best I’ve had: juicy, plump, flavoursome, served with almonds, orange rind and fennel seeds. Absolutely delicious (and a very generous serving size which will have me coming back for more). Also, the vermouth + oyster combo is incredible. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, a gem of a place with an incredible talent for making its guests feel special. We had our wedding reception dinner here and the tasting menu was incredible, specifically suited to us, and met my lovely bride's dietary needs. They went above and beyond and at a very reasonable price for the incredible service and dishes. Really great experience, and we will definitely be back!

Brian Allman — Google review

Beautiful food, beautiful selection of wine and co*cktails, and amazing atmosphere for date night. Especially loved the bruschetta and fritto misto - could have bowls of that dish!

Magnificent food and service from Jenny! She is the friendliest, sweetest and most gorgeous person ever. We loved everything about Donna Maria and will definitely be back!!

Britt Hoyle — Google review

We loved tonight’s dinner - a 5/5, but the menu options didn’t quite hit the mark and we chose the specials - spanner crab arancini, scampi spaghetti and a green salad. Efficient friendly service - the boys were flat out. Was great to see the menu was no longer fixed to either 2 or 3 courses. We’ll be back, yum. Thankyou.

Zalie Cranwell — Google review

Magnificent food, great wine selection and friendly service. The waiters were super knowledgeable regarding each dish and their passion for authentic and delicious Italian food was transparent. Will definitely be dining here again!

Jessica Dixon — Google review

We have mixed feelings with the foods we ordered. We loved some but the others were rather disappointing. The tiramisu, duck breast and the risottos were soooo good! The tagliatelle was yum too.Don’t order the sprouting broccolini is more like wooden broccolini. The special sword fish was dried and over cooked.Good luck when you order.

Echo Ye Fullerton — Google review

I have been to Donna Maria many times for coffee or to grab something to take home for dinner such as their vegetarian and meat lasagna, which is delicious. But this was my first time dining here.I came in a group of three, me included and had a fantastic time. The interior and vibe of Donna Maria is somewhat homely and somewhat modern. Very well done and is a great place to sit and relax on a cold rainy evening! The people that served us were absolutely fantastic, friendly, keen for a bit of a chat and very very knowledgeable about their menu. The food was of course as positively received as the aforementioned elements. We didn’t quite make it to mains as we ordered a lot of smaller dishes but they were all fantastic. The ceviche was my favourite, however I am very biased as ceviche anywhere usually is. It was one of the better iterations of this dish that I have ever had. I am not much of a dessert person, but the desserts were fantastic too!The drinks list of extensive, we did not drink too much but it was reasonably priced and what we had was delicious.I would definitely recommend visiting Donna Maria, if not for dinner, then just for lunch. It’s definitely worth the travel!5/5

We had a lovely time dine in. The food was delicious!!! We really can’t fault anything. The only thing is the Finocchiata should have come with some bread or crackers…. Wine selections is soo amazing as well. They have a 10% surcharge on a Sunday which we didnt mind as it seemed really quiet on a Sunday in the area. We also love the atmosphere. Feels really chill and not too precious.

Donna Maria has such exquisite food. My partner and I had a lovely, chill lunch and we stayed for their half-priced oyster promotion which starts at 5pm. Their produce are fresh and their flavours are unique and novel. Do give the place a visit!

Little Rebel Coffee Roastery is not just a place for coffee, it's an experience. Housed in a converted warehouse in Dromana, the roastery features impressive roasting machines, tasting stations, and vintage Harley Davidson motorbikes. The on-site roasted beans result in some of the best coffees on the peninsula, served with organic cow's milk or specialty plant milks. A unique feature is their bean vending machine and convenient coffee subscription with free delivery.

The bean vending machine is genius! I have a coffee subscription with Little Rebel which is so handy with the free delivery as well. But some weeks I drink more coffee than others and the vending machine makes it easy to go and grab an extra bag of beans at any point in the day. They also have a few other items in there such as hot chocolate and things like that. Such a great concept!Bonus that the beans are actually delicious too!Highly recommend them!

Coffee roaster and cafe with a clear branding and feel. Lots of food, coffee and merch options. Very popular amongst locals it seems. Lots of seating to enjoy the coffee.

Now THAT was an exceptional Single Origin Iced Long Black! And well priced at $5. Cool vibe and brand, good service. I’ll be back anytime I’m down from Sydney.

Josh Stanes — Google review

We only buy coffee beans from here and they are great. I don't actually drink coffee but my partner and friend do and we keep buying it so it must be great. I like that there is a vending machine so when your not open and we run out of coffee it's great to know we can always get some.

Great place for a stop. Excellent coffee; tried the cappuccino and batch brew.Baby chinos with marshmallows kept the kids happy.Chill atmosphere, friendly staff and spotless facilities.

3.7 out of 5. This is a good coffee spot which brightens an otherwise fairly drab light industrial area. It’s a good sized place and well set out. Specialist coffee is the focus here, whether made on site or bought to make your own cup later. The staff were up and about and eager to help today. The brew here is quite tidy and I enjoyed my long black with milk on the side. It’s a good place on what I saw and I’d therefore happily return anytime.

Everytime I visit the Mornington Peninsula, I take some time to visit this coffee roastery. The amazing barista prepared the perfect lattes and creamy light nitro cold brews. This is also my Dad's favorite place to buy his roasted beans for the home espresso machine. Little off the beaten path, but well worth the visit.

I think this is the most friendliest place I have ever been too the staff were so accommodating as we had been sitting at vicroads for so long and it was late in the afternoon and we were looking to get something to eat and the lovely lady was more then happy to help us out and the food was fantastic. Will definitely go there again

Lovely coffee place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. One long table and another smaller table to sit down inside with a couple of tables for outside seating. Would have been nice if they had a small breakfast/lunch menu to have with the coffee instead of a couple of pastries.

Burgers, hot dogs and milkshakes, dished up in a big hangout with subway tiles and pink neon lights.

Great food, service, price and atmosphere, which was really unexpected for a food outlet near a service station. The guy serving was amazingly helpful and friendly and the food very tasty. Cheaper than most fast food places but much better food. Highly recommend for a quick, authentic diner burger meal at a budget price.

Rocked up on a busy friday night. Was advised there would be a 45 minute wait. I figure it must be good and decided to wait. Yeah, the burgers were good but not 45 minute wait worthy. The buns were out of the fridge cold. Dont know if that normal.

Absolutly the worst burger and fries I have ever had. I ordered the Lot and it was disgusting. Soggy bun, fell apart. Limp lettuce, bland tomato, greasy as. Simply horrible.Gave it to my dog. Go to southside instead, those guys know how to make a burger
