melbourne beach surf report
Friday: Expect anklebusters to shin-high waves with occasional knee-high sets coming from the East at 8-second. Morning offshore winds will shift to onshore in the afternoon.
melbourne beach surf forecast
Weekend: Waves will be predominantly knee-high, with lucky thigh-high sets, also from the East at 8-second intervals. A minor background bump could prop up some sets. Winds are expected to remain light and mostly offshore, with typical afternoon onshore switches.
Looking ahead: The start of next week presents modest surf conditions, with a potential increase midweek. Long-range forecasts suggest a developing system, but that is still a ways off.
